AMVET Geothermal and Drilling

is proud to be a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business serving the Government

Owner Tim Loen, a retired Navy SEAL of 23 years, knows how important the mission is, and that the sustainability and security of the home front is more important now than ever.

AMVET Geothermal and Drilling works with government end users and private industry energy companies, including DOE qualified ESCO’s, on government projects that allow organizations to dramatically reduce energy costs and create secure and sustainable energy efficiency by improving HVAC and water energy management with Geothermal Wells and Water Systems Solutions.

These projects incorporating Geothermal renewable energy solutions align with the U.S. Department of Energy objectives to work toward overall energy reduction, the sustainability requirements associated with Executive Order 13693 and DOE’s Guiding Principles for Federal Leadership in High Performance and Sustainable Buildings.

We provide the technical and management capabilities to complete a geothermal well or water well project at any facility, including public buildings, high security areas and mission-critical operations centers during daily use.

We work closely with Federal agencies and our private industry partners to develop and execute project plans that minimize disruptions and allow normal operations to continue without impedance.

We have extensive experience with mission critical requirements and can provide solutions that are delivered on time and with reliable performance.

We are committed to helping organizations create sustainable improvements to meet and exceed goals and requirements of Executive Order on Efficient Federal Operations through federal Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC’s), and other Federal Energy Management Programs.

Energy savings performance contracts (ESPCs) for Federal Agencies:

https://www.energy.gov/eere/femp/energy-savings-performance-contracts-federal-agencies

Energy Savings Performance Contracts allow federal agencies to procure energy savings and facility improvements with no up-front capital costs or special appropriations from Congress. An ESPC is a partnership between an agency and an energy service company (ESCO).

Since the inception of U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) ESPCs in 1998, agencies have used the ESPC contracting vehicle since 1998 to significantly reduce energy and operating costs and make progress toward meeting federal sustainability goals.

The Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) provides agencies with expert assistance, guidance, and training to help them implement ESPC projects that are technically excellent, legally sound, and a good deal for the government. FEMP's activity in this area stems from the legislation that authorizes federal ESPCs, which also made FEMP the federal organization responsible for creating and providing services to enable all agencies to implement successful ESPC projects.
